Make Some Illinoise 

Born and raised in a small village in Belgium, I have come to the USA to finish my master's degree in Journalism with a semester abroad at the UIUC.

 

Since I was a little girl, I have always been really fond of news and stories. A bachelor's degree in Dutch and Latin literature and linguistics later, my love for the written word is bigger than it ever was. During my master's degree of Cultural Studies a particual interest in New Media emerged. And now, blogging, video making, storytelling and new media platforms are the new wonders of my life!

 

For the course of 'New Media, Culture & Society' I will post my news entries on this page, to show some of my thoughts on the class subjects.
